This is actually 3 questions in one: What do dreams with moons mean? I always have dreams of full moons. Never a new or half moon. I revisit sites that I have created in dreams before quite often. I have dream continuations all of the time (especially when I would rather not continue certain ones). What does it mean when I revisit sites or have dream continuations?

Here is an example of a dream I would have with moons, revisited sites, and dream continuations:
Kandu= my bro
Yanni = my sis
Mom=…well, mom.
JWU = Johnson and Wales University

Here is a dream I wrote to my mom.:
Mom my dream had me wake feeling unsettled and semi-fearful…
Basically, yanni stole your car which turned into dad’s car the night of her prom which was a day before JWU was gonna host a big time event. I met Celine Dion, but after I couldn’t get a good picture with her annoyed her enough to give a mean face in a good snap shot.
Yanni didn’t know how to break so after we chased the car which seemed to know where it was going, it drove up churh steps and down church steps into a river bank. You were waiting at the bank and picked it up by my window to carry it to shore. We drove home and through an ally (then out of a garage door) which turned out to be someone’s home in our neighborhood. You had the car windows open and a pimp leaned into the window and offered to give you a ride.We parked a block from church and took a walk. You asked if the moon was out and I pointed up towards the moon. There was an eclipse going on! Those don’t happen at night, do they? Then a moon began to appear behind whatever it was hiding behind and the sky gave birth to a full moon that duplicated itself. A second moon fell from it and landed a few feet below it to its right. A beautiful sprinkling type stars spread across the sky. It was beautiful until the stars fell from the sky trying to kill us. We ran to our garage and while I practiced clutching and using the stick arguing with kandu that I needed the car more, we were cornered by 4 men. 1 was a bodyguard 1 was a neighbor-friend, 1-was a pimp who saw us driving through his home-alley and the other was a bystander. You were told to go with the bodyguard who would “protect you” and the pimp who had his eye on you for a while. You followed. You came back 5 minutes later and removed the blue sweater with the read collar you normally wear when its cold. You threw it in the car and walked back towards the two men. I have no idea what happened to you, but I had hoped that the strength you used to retrieve the car was used on those men. They came back for kandu, yanni and I. Our neighbor warned us and told us to run, but before we escaped, I saw him talking the pimp. We ran into a warehouse/empty home aftrer I suggested a church nearby, and it became longer and longer as we ran. I heard keys jingling behind us. Kandu ran ahead of us and Yanni let go of my hand. I woke up. I feel so unsettled.

Last night, I had a dream that seemed normal enough until I ran to a familiar place I visited before. It was a plaza by the sea. I ran up to it and looked out to see. I saw a huge yellow/orange glowing moon emerge from behind beautiful night clouds. It was a normal full moon and it rose to the sky as any moon would. I woke up.

……………All dream symbols have aspects that are considered universal, but they also have symbolism that pertain only to you as well, and your personal thoughts on a particular symbol’s meaning to you can affect interpretation, there is not a one size fits all interpretation to a symbol, the action and symbols around it need to be taken into account as well. ……..This one seems pretty straightforward. Bodies of water in dreams tend to reflect one’s emotional state. The setting in this is serene, and the full moon emerges from clouds. The imagery in general sounds like you have come through a situation that was bothering you, and with the clouds lifting away from the moon, you now see it all clearly, and feel completion and resolution on whatever situation it was about.
Another thing to consider as you try to interpret your dreams, is “feelings” you have around the dream, in the first dream you feel anxious and unsettled, in the second dream you use words like “familiar” (reads as comforting) and “beautiful” offering a more serene picture.

………………….There are various reasons for people to return to a particular dream over and over again. Sometimes a recurring dream is about an unresolved issue that keeps presenting itself to you and trying to get your attention until you are willing to look at it and resolve it. Other times a particular setting or symbol seems to be a signal, to the dreamer. The plaza by the sea seems to be a place that you visit to check on your emotional state. If you come out of a dream, then go back to the same dream, it may be about something important to you that you need to resolve. The other dream is way more complex.

You were waiting at the bank and picked it up by my window to carry it to shore Looking at this scene over all, this imagery offers an impression that your sister’s life is out of control at the moment, and you are worried about her, and worried about her spiritual and emotional outlook on life, which seems to be all over the place. First she steals your mother’s car, then it turns into your father’s car, she is in the driver’s seat either way, and it seems as though she desperately needs attention from both of your parents. Your mom is waiting for the car on the river bank though, and she carries the car to shore, it seems that she is the one who is there when your sister is in trouble. This imagery also causes me to wonder what affect your sister’s need for attention is having on you. The JWU event reads like an event pertaining to your life, but your sister’s antics have distracted your mom’s attention from your event, to trying to deal with your sister.

You should spend some time to free associate on what the symbol of a pimp means to you. In this scene, your mom is in the driver’s seat (in control of her life’s direction) and a pimp comes along and tries to take her out of the driver’s seat (offers her a ride, when she obviously doesn’t need one, she is behind the wheel herself.) The pimp comes in through the window (a man is affecting your mom’s “outlook”, or seems to be, in your observations). In thinking over the pimp as a symbol, a pimp is basically someone who uses and controls women for his own benefit. You should look over your life, and see if you find someone in your life or your mom’s life who you feel to be controlling or manipulative. In a sense, a pimp is a father figure to his prostitutes, they are dependent on the pimp for things like food, clothing, housing, etc. To be honest, it’s just a “feeling”, but the imagery involving the pimp makes me wonder where your father is, and what role he has in your life, and your mom’s life.

………………..coming right after the scene with the pimp, it seems as though you feel that whoever he represents is over shadowing your mom’s life.

………………so you go into a garage, which is a place where your life (car) sits idle and protected for awhile. You state to your brother that you need the car (your mom’s car) more. It seems to come back around to the earlier comment that your sister really needs your parent’s attention, but it is having an effect on your life, and your brother’s life, and you need your parent’s attention too. The pimp and the bodyguard seem to represent 2 men in your mom’s life, one who is protective of her, and one who is not good for her, but has reason to “keep an eye on her”. …………Clothing represents attitudes. In discarding old, familiar clothing, you are noticing that your mom has had a change of attitude of some kind. She has discarded some old ways of thinking…..

…………….You seem to have concerns about whether your mom can stand up for herself, and also what effects her relationships have on you and your siblings….the neighbor seems to be an interested party trying to guide you and your siblings…
